Game Description

Goal of the game

Travel the world in search of recipes and ingredients at the best prices. Buy the ingredients you need to make chocolate bars. Then sell your chocolates for the highest profit.

Game controls

Your map shows an overview of your chocolate empire, indicating where you are and where you can go to. Dots mark available ports. Roll over a port icon for info on cost of travel. Then click to travel there. 

In every port there are buildings, monuments, parks, and other public places full of interesting people. You can explore buildings or locations by left clicking them. New ports will become available as you complete quests and build your business. 

You need to buy ingredients for your products on the market. To purchase an ingredient, click on its sack and enter the quantity you desire into the calculator. When you are ready, click the ‘Buy' button to complete your purchase. If you don't like the prices you see, haggling with the market owner may get you a lower price, but it may also make them angry, so be careful what you say. 

If you have enough ingredients, you can make chocolate bars. Click ‘Make chocolate' in your factory to create 15 cases of the chocolate bar you selected. You can change the chocolate bar you'd like to make. In the web version of this game your chocolate production is automatically set at 15 cases per week. 

During your career as Chocolatier, you will collect and discover many new recipes to expand your product lines. Your Recipe Book organizes them all for you. Browse your recipes by selecting a category along the top. Then select a product in the left panel to review it. If you do not have all the ingredients required to make the chosen recipe, missing ingredients will be marked by a red X. 

Turn your products into cash at chocolate shops around the world. To sell a product, click on its box and enter the quantity to sell into the calculator. When you are ready, click the ‘Sell' button to complete the transaction. As a shortcut, click ‘Sell All' in the calculator to sell all of them at once. Some shopkeepers specialize in particular products. Haggling with the shop keeper may get you a better offer for the products they do buy, or it may not!
